With a reputation for serving the finest steaks in London, Hawksmoor opened its first restaurant on Commercial Street in East London – at the edge of the City of London, close to Spitalfields and Shoreditch and within comfortable walking distance from Liverpool Street mainline and tube stations – in 2006.
Hawksmoor has grown to having seven further restaurants in London in addition to its original Spitalfields flagship site, serving a fine selection of sustainable seaford alongside its impressive selection of succulent steaks from independent UK beef farmers with animal welfare to the fore.
Hawksmoor Seven Dials on Langley Street, London WC2 – housed within the old Watney-Combe brewery in the heart of London’s iconic Covent Garden district – was the second Hawksmoor restaurant to be opened in 2010 and is just a short walk from Covent Garden and Tottenham Court Road tube stations.
Opened in 2012, Hawksmoor Air Street in London W1 is located in the heart of London’s West End district – on the southern edge of Soho, close to Piccadilly Circus & Leicester Square London Underground stations.
Hawksmoor Knightsbridge on Yeoman’s Row in London SW3 opened in 2014 and is located an equidistance between Knightsbridge and South Kensington tube stations in South West London.

Hawksmoor Guildhall on Basinghall Street in the EC2 district of the City of London – close to Bank and Moorgate London Underground tube stations – opened in 2011 and has a variety of private dining event spaces. The Sublime Society Room seats up to 22 and The Bar provides semi-private dining for up to 46. The main dining room is also available to hire exclusively for City banqueting events of up to 140 seated guests.
Opened in 2006, Hawksmoor Borough on Winchester Walk in the SE1 district of London, just south of the Thames – a short walk from the capital’s famous food market and London Bridge station – has a range of private dining event options. The Cook’s Room seats up to 22 guests and the Hop House provides semi-private dining for up to 24 seated guests. Hawksmoor Borough’s main restaurant is also available for exclusive hire for up to 160 seated guests.
Hawksmoor Wood Wharf is the most recent Hawksmoor restaurant in London, having opened as a floating pavilion in 2021. Located on Water Street in the E14 Docklands district of East London – close to the Canary Wharf financial district and within easy walking distance of Canary Wharf Docklands Light Railway station – the Wood Wharf site provides private dining for a variety of seated capacities. The Queenie Watts room seats up to 22 and the semi-private Bar Area can accommodate up to 60 seated guests. Restaurant exclusive hire is available for large banqueting events in Docklands of up to 150 seated guests.
