Putney venues with private rooms for group dining events

Putney is situated in South West London with the districts of Barnes and Richmond on its western edge and Wandsworth to the east. Part of the London Borough of Wandsworth, this well heeled residential district has a River Thames southern bank shoreline facing Fulham, to which it is connected via Putney Bridge.

Traditional pubs with function rooms and local restaurants with private rooms provide spaces to hire for group dining events and other types of party celebrations including drinks receptions and get-togethers.

The area’s riverside setting has a long standing connection to the sport of rowing with the district being home to a number of rowing clubs including the London Rowing Club and the Thames Rowing Club as well as being the location for the starting point of the Boat Race, held annually on the last weekend in March or first weekend in April,

Putney is served by London Underground tube stations at East Putney and Putney Bridge which are both on the Wimbledon branch of the District Line with the latter station actually a walk over the Thames in nearby Fulham.
