Six is a Modern British restaurant located on the top floor of BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art on Gateshead Quays in Newcastle, North East England.

Six boasts two private dining rooms, both featuring floor to ceiling windows, allowing diners to take in the dramatic views whilst dining in this unique setting.

The restaurant decor reflects BALTIC’s strong, industrial architecture and is softened with Scandinavian-inspired furnishings. The open kitchen adds extra atmosphere and theatre to the dining room.

Six is well known for it’s commitment to using seasonal, local ingredients, sourcing from high-welfare artisan producers and employing sustainable practices across it’s business.

The Modern British inspired a la carte menus change seasonally and showcase the best of local produce. Diners with special dietary requirements such a vegan and and gluten-free are always well catered for.

Six’s private dining rooms are ideal for those looking to impress their guests and add a “wow-factor” to the event.

The rooms are equally suitable for business dinners or private celebrations of up to 40 guests and can be dressed to suit the organiser’s theme.

The restaurant’s experienced event planners are on hand to assist with every aspect of the meal, ensuring an unforgettable evening in a unique setting.

For parties of 14 or fewer, guests can order on the night from our A La Carte menu, which changes seasonally reflecting the availability of local ingredients.

For parties of 15 or more we require a full pre order 48 hours prior to the event from a reduced menu.
