In the heart of London’s West End and Theatreland, near Leicester Square and Covent Garden tube stations, you’ll find our simply stunning brasserie, bar, restaurant and private dining rooms.
Housed in the grand old Grade II listed Westminster County Court building, with awe-inspiring high ceilings and original features, our historic venue is fresh from a multi million pound refurbishment and a simply perfect location for all occasions.
On the edge of theatre-land and within easy reach of a host of London’s iconic landmarks, our vibrant brasserie and bar offers the perfect place for relaxation and refreshment after a day’s sightseeing or a stroll around Covent Garden itself, taking in the street performers, boutique market stalls and bustling atmosphere.

We offer 4 private dining rooms:
Judges Court
Steeped in history, formally the main court of Westminster County Court, this room still houses the original Judges bench and gavel. Now a dedicated Afternoon Tea Room, it can also be hired out for all your special events – from conferences to private dining to networking events. The room has meet and greet area on the first floor landing and it’s own fully stocked private bar.
Barristers Court
This stunning courtroom once dealt with births, deaths and marriages and it retains many original features including beautiful skylights, chandeliers and the original judge’s bench. The Barristers Court is the second largest of the four rooms at the Rooms at Browns and can seat up to 48 diners or 60 people for drinks and canapés. This room is the perfect location for any event whether a business meeting or social event.
Judges Chamber
Once a private retreat from the duties of the bench, our Judge’s Chamber allows our guests to relax and enjoy the exclusive company of up to 40 family members, friends or colleagues whilst being tended to by your own private team of friendly wait staff. With it’s high ceilings, and large windows, this airy space is the perfect setting to delight in a sumptuous five course meal, or close that business deal – whatever your need, the Judge’s Chamber can provide.
Judges Study
The smallest of our private dining rooms, the Judge’s Study brings together eight to twelve guests for an intimate and sophisticated gathering, in what would have been a space of private contemplation for the many Judges passing through this office in years gone by. Vibrant, yet cosy, the Judge’s Study offers our guests the chance to make cherished memories with their nearest and dearest, or host confidential business meetings complete with an audio and visual suite at their fingertips.

There is much to enjoy from the four special private dining rooms in Browns Brasserie & Bar in Covent Garden and Brown’s manages to play up the theatrical aspect of the venue whilst retaining the charm and traditional design of the building.
