Angela Hartnett’s Café Murano Bermondsey Street is the newest and slightly more casual offshoot of Michelin-starred Murano.
As Bermondsey fast becomes the culinary destination of South London, this industrial yet cosy restaurant is home to head chef Adam Jay bringing favourite dishes from regional Italy.
The private dining room at Café Murano, Bermondsey Street
The dedicated private dining area seats up to 14 guests on one table. There is a plasma screen discreetly hidden behind a curtain, making the space suitable for meetings and working lunches as well as social and corporate events.
With stylish Crittall glasswork and artwork from local galleries, this space is different in style to the other Café Murano restaurants, but retains the charm, elegance and of course, excellent food that Angela is renowned for.
Guests can choose from a range of menus featuring such dishes as honey roast Delica squash, cavalo nero pesto, pecorino and roast pork belly, confit garlic and rosemary potatoes, or speak to the team about creating a bespoke tasting menu for that extra special touch.
