Frederick’s

Frederick’s is a family-run restaurant established in 1969 and is situated at Angel, Islington.

The space that Fredericks offers is simply unique; the homeliness of the feel as you walk in, the conservatory, and The Club Room with its own terrace and view of the secluded garden. You would never think that you are just 15 minutes away from the city as you enter Camden Passage with the cobbled street and independent shops.

Our food is highly rated, our wine list offers breadth and value, and we have two party planners to assist you with handling any specific arrangements.

The two private dining rooms at Frederick’s Islington

The two rooms are suited for a range of events. Frederick’s holds a wedding and civil partnership licence, allowing you to get married and hold your reception all in one venue.

The Clarence Room
The Clarence Room, located on the first floor is a more traditional space. Well-suited for corporate or private parties the room has its own cloakroom, 50inch TV for presentations or viewing, sound system and loos.

The Club Room
Launched in 2013, The Club Room has proven popular for a range of events. It is contemporary with leather-panelled walls and sliding doors on to its own patio. The room can work for anything from 15 to 40 seated, or 25 to 60 standing – and even more in the Summer weather-permitting. Sit-down meals, cocktail party format, or business presentations can all be accommodated. Fully equipped with a 75inch plasma, the room is superb for viewings or presentations. The room is on the ground floor.

The Club Room and The Clarence Room are available Monday to Saturday for lunch (12 noon until 4:30 pm) and dinner (6 pm until midnight).

In December the private dining rooms are available for lunch from 12:30pm for lunch and from 6:30 pm for dinner.
